Our Mission The Junior League of Martin County (JLMC) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluteerism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. Our Vision We will empower our members with the knowledge and experience necessary to significantly impact our community and conquer the needs of women and children. Core Values Values are established beliefs that are held sacred by our members and will not be compromised. They guide the daily behavior and activities of the Junior League of Martin County and its members. Our values for working together toward the accomplishment of our goals affirm that all members will: 1. Be committed to the mission of the organization and strive to make JLMC a high impact, visible organization that is efficient and purposeful; 2. Value each member by showing respect, understanding for differneces, and gratitude for the time and talent given; 3. Be willing to serve the organization and the community by being reliable, responsiblel and accountable volunteers and by taking responsibility for keeping informed by reading the materials sent out to members; 4. Perform their volunteer jobs with a positive attitude, a professional manner, and a high degree of integrity and honesty.
