Serving the Community Since it was founded in 1992, the Junior League of Martin County has raised and donated significant funds and labor to communities and organizations on the Treasure Coast. In addition, JLMC members have contributed thousands of volunteer hours. The Junior League of Martin County is proud to focus on children and literacy via direct service, advocacy and grantmaking. Volunteers provide an uplifting, safe environment for youth development, cultural enrichment, and life-skills training. The JLMC is committed to providing community support in the following ways: Financial and Volunteer Support JLMC partners with organizations and provides financial support and a group of volunteers dedicated to specific community programs, generally to ease its transition to self-sustainability. Long-term Community Impact JLMC trained volunteer leaders bring their skills and experience to the community during and after their League tenure as volunteers and board members. |
