Community Projects

The Junior League of Martin County has committed to supporting the following organizations with volunteer service:

The Children's Musem of the Treasure Coast
A state-of-the-art museum dedicated to educating children about local history and the ecology. This is the JLMC's signature
project.

Gertrude Walden Child Care Center
A non-profit organization that provides subsided day care for children ages 1-5.

PACE Center for Girls
A non-profit organization that provides a non-residential delinquency prevention program to girls ages 12 to 18 who are
identified as dependent, truant, runaway, ungovernable, delinquent, or in need of academic skills.


Community Partners

The JLMC also maintains partnerships with the following local, non-profit organizations. Every year, a member of the JLMC
serves on the boards of these organizations, providing advisory and other volunteer support.

Hibiscus Children's Center
A non-profit, charitable organization that provides services to children and families to prevent and reduce child abuse.

The Arts Council, Inc., serving Stuart and Martin County
The designated public arts agency for Martin County, the Arts Council provides services to visual and performing artists, arts
organizations, students and the public in order to instill a passion for, and participation in, the arts.
